deja-vu v.2 [ rain... falling in my heart

just a few more hours before 2004 ends. feeling sort of.. nostalgic and what not. maybe nostalgic's not the right word. but.. yar. just those memories passing by. thinking of all the things that have happened this year.

gonna go for some spasticated new year countdown dinner-cum-party thingie at orchard hotel. im not trying to sound snobbish and what not, but personally, i'm really not very interested. much rather stay at home and sit by the window looking at the drizzle. my nostalgic mood thingie might be cause of the rain these few days, but me not wanting to go for the countdown party thing isn't. really. i don't know. but a party.. now? its just weird. and pointless. to me.

it's been raining and raining these few days. yep. i won't be surprised if i start seeing cats and dogs falling from the sky anytime soon now. guess this is the after effects of the whole tsunami thingie? i dunno. *shrugs* just wish things like this wouldn't happen and never happen. estimated death toll of 11,000. imagine the difference it could make in the world. just imagine. i don't know.

i personally think that whenever it rains, it's the heavens crying. they cried during the russian submarine incident. they cried during 911. they're crying nonstop now. here. sometimes, i just wish i could do something to prevent all this from happening. but.. *sigh*

then again, if i can't now.. i will in the future. yep. so now.. i'll concentrate on doing well. ^__^

and on a much happier note, the update for g.i.r.l i.n t.h.e p.o.r.t.r.a.i.t is finally up. finally. on the last day of 2004. there's so much to look back upon.
